Lightstream is a leading technology which uses intense pulse light. It provides a safe and a effective permanent hair reduction for all male and female clients, and for all hair types, anywhere on the body.

The lightstream utilises a technology called intense pulsed light (IPL), which has been developed specifically for hair removal and represents the next generation from laser hair removal. Unlike lasers, IPL is suitable for Asians and Afro-Caribbean as well as for European skin types, and it has been certified by the FDA as providing a permanent solution for most excess hair body problems (certain medical condition may make the treatment less effective).

Lightstream works by using light to penetrate to the root of the hair follicle, where it is absorbed by a substance called melanine. The melanine heats up rapidly and destroys the hair follicle.
