TAE-KWON-DO  

Tae-Kwon-Do is the only Martial Art that is included in the Olympic and is ideal for obtaining a good strong foundation for any other martial art later on in life. It promotes self-discipline, concentration for study, self-confidence, fitness, lower body fat, core stability

TAE-KWON-DO FOR BEGINNERS
Please note that all children wishing to join the Tae-kwon-do class will be required to attend the Tuesday class. After this, other days may be allocated to them at the discretion of the instructor. This is in place to ensure that we meet our health & safety obligation to your child, as well as other children. Children will need to be of age 5 years or older.
For the first four classes your child will be allowed to train without having to join as a members. Charges during this period will be based on guests rates at Single session/Guess fee rate (See prices below).

CLOTHING
Shoes are not required for class, as all classes take place in bear foot. Basic training shorts/bottoms and vest or T-shirts can be worn during the first four session, after this both membership and uniform will be compulsory. Uniforms can be purchased at this club.

PARENTS WAITING FOR THEIR CHILDREN
Whilst a class in session, parents will not be allowed inside the hall, as this may prove to be a distraction to the children. Parents wishing to wait during a class are invited to wait in the areas allocated at the reception.

Single session/Guest fee (Per class) £8.00

ANNUAL MEMBRSHIP/INSURANCE FEES
There is an annual Club membership fee and Person to Person contact insurance fee, payable to miami health club. Currently £40
Monthly training fee for members attending 1 class per week £28.00
Monthly training fee for members attending 2 classes per week £45.00
Monthly training fee for members attending 3 classes per week £55.00

GRADING FEES
When ever students have aquired to sufficient knowledge and skill, as identified by their instructor, Parents/Guadians will be informed when they are ready to sit for a grading. Grading fees are payable to the their instructor. Please speak to the instructors for the curent rate.

TIMES
WEDNESDAY 5:00-6:00pm, Beginners Only (from age 5 years old)
WEDNESDAY 6.00-7.00pm, Yellow Belts and above

FRIDAY 5:00-6:00pm, Beginners Only (from age 5 years old)
FRIDAY 6.00-7.00pm, Yellow Belts and above

SATURDAY 1:30–2.30pm, Yellow Belts and above

 

UNIFORMS
Taekwondo V Neck 100% Cotton with the words "TAK-KWON-DO" written on the back.
Price of uniforms range from £25 to £35, depending on the height of the student.
